Real Drivers. Real Success.
See how rideshare pros across the country are using our CitySmart Rideshare Playbooks to boost their earnings and confidence on the road.

I drive in Chicago, where rideshare is very busy. The Playbook taught me tricks to handle tourists, airport runs, and even Riverwalk traffic. It made me more confident and professional as a driver. I definitely recommend it to other drivers. As for my CitySmart Rideshare women's safety book? O now this one is really something special...... This one., let me tell you about it.. I downloaded it one night and started reading this handbook and I couldn't stop it! It was just one of those things where I saw it online and it caught my attention. So I checked it out and saw all these great things people said about it, and so I just ordered it. And oh my God I just could not stop reading it. I mean I like finished it in one night! But you know because of the kind of book it is, you know it's like a safety handbook for your car, and so I keep mine right in my little console and I read it and read it alot. Hey you know I think you guys should make this book into like a series just for us. That would be great!
These books are so much better than the other rideshare stuff that's out there. I'm just sayin, you know.
– Sofia D., Chicago, IL

What impressed me most about this handbook is how intentionally it speaks to minorities without stereotyping or talking down to us. CitySmart Rideshare clearly understands that minority drivers face unique challenges that mainstream rideshare guides never touch. This book doesn’t just give advice. It gives context, awareness, and validation. It’s practical, empowering, and very honest. I ordered 4 more copies for my friends.

I promise you this is so crazy. The rideshare world is dominated by ethnic minorities like me, but all the other books out there act like minorities and the stuff we face every day don’t even exist. That’s why the CitySmart Rideshare Women & Minorities Driver Safety Handbook hit me so hard. It finally acknowledges our reality. It gives us a voice and gives clear, practical steps for staying safe while we're driving, especially for women in situations where people don’t always take us seriously. You all did a brilliant job!
On the other side, my CitySmart Rideshare Driver’s Playbook is honestly like having my own personal business coach in the car with me. I mean I’m even learning how to keep making money when I’m not driving. And as a grad student who does rideshare and works a full-time job, I've got a pretty tight load. But this combo of safety and business knowledge makes me feel like I have an edge that nobody can take away. I can say without hesitation that these books are total game changers for the rideshare industry.

I have been driving people around New York City for a long time, first as a yellow cab driver and now with Uber, and I honestly thought I had seen and heard it all. When I made the switch to rideshare, I ordered the CitySmart Rideshare Women & Minorities Driver Safety Handbook out of curiosity more than anything else. I figured it might have a few useful reminders, but I was not prepared for how much I would love this book. From the first chapters, it felt like it was written by people who actually understand what it is like to work the streets day in and day out, especially if you are not a young, carefree driver with nothing to lose.
Coming from the old-school cab world, I appreciated how practical and street-smart the advice is. It does not feel theoretical or corporate. It feels lived-in. What really impressed me, though, is how intentionally this handbook speaks to immigrant and ethnic minority drivers. That was something I never saw addressed properly in any cab manuals or rideshare guides before. CitySmart Rideshare clearly understands that not every driver walks into a situation with the same assumptions or protections, and they were not afraid to say that out loud.
Reading this book actually made me excited to drive again. It sharpened instincts I already had from years in a cab while also helping me adapt to the realities of Uber and app-based driving. I felt respected as a professional, not talked down to. This handbook made me feel like someone finally put real thought into protecting drivers instead of just telling us to smile and keep moving. I recommend it to every driver I meet, especially those coming from the old taxi world. It is hands down one of the smartest and most empowering rideshare books I have ever read.

Yo this the kinda guide every Boricua brother in the hustle need to read, pa’ que no se queden atrás, ¿oíste?
I started using the Playbook last month, and already I’m making better money and driving less hours. It breaks things down so simple, bro. I mean like when to drive, how to handle tough riders, how to stay professional, and how to lock in repeat riders so I'm not just out here driving, but as soon as I wake up and hit the road I'm actually on call bro! I don't gotta go out chasing rides no more bro!
